Such a wait, but as of yesterday evening, we signed off on the construction agreement and the specifications list! What a relief. The contract and specs list was translated for us, thank goodness, as my Spanish is not exactly up to that kind of language! The contract reads well, but I sent it off to our lawyer for feedback anyway. Now the bank also has their copy, and once we send the first payment, Senor Builder (don’t know his name yet!) has two weeks to get started. My revised plan looks like it will be very workable, except we have packed up way too much furniture to use in this new plan! I intend to contact the moving company to see if we can remove some of the furniture from the shipment before it sets sail. Now we just need to finalize a sale on the Gallery, and all will be copacetic.
